(3) Hollow glass cell module
The notable feature of the hollow glass cell module is that the cavity is filled with inert gas or evacuated. The hollow glass solar cell module is the same as other cell modules. The individual solar cells are connected by welding with interconnecting strips. The interconnecting strips are welded on the silver film (or copper film) of the bottom glass, and the bottom glass and the top glass are welded together. The face glass is separated by hollow aluminum spacers, thereby forming a cavity. The single solar cell is installed in the cavity, and the cavity is filled with inert gas or evacuated, and the bottom glass and the top glass are fixed with sealant. The junction box and the positive and negative leads are also sealed in the edge sandwich of the front and rear glass with sealant, and aluminum frames are assembled around them. The lead screws are welded to the silver film of the bottom glass and the positive and negative electrodes are led out from the two holes on the bottom glass. The box is mounted on the lead electrode.
